IDEA AND INSPIRATION

In the modern world, intellectual capital is a language of weight that determines the status of a nation and a state. The purpose of national broadcasting is to contribute to the fulfillment of the tasks of the Estonian state provided for in the Constitution of the Republic of Estonia.

Therefore, a CLEAR PICTURE, HONESTY and TRANSPARENCY are the main purposes of the activity of national broadcasting and television. National broadcasting and television can be considered as one of the most important intellectual guides in today's world, which defines and acquires more and more iconic meaning in a person's everyday life. Television is an area in which our well-being and future success increasingly depend on our contribution, which is why the field of television is becoming an increasingly important role as part of ERR. Therefore, with our work we have proposed that ERR's new television building express the iconic importance of this field. The aim of our design is to create a modern, architecturally high-leveled and well-functioning television and media building complex that is energy efficient and economically sustainable. The large construction volume described in the initial conditions of the competition is divided into two wings by an architectural solution in order to reduce the visual and spatial impact of the building.

The volume of the building follows the logic of the function.

The articulations of the facade create an exciting and strong identity for the building.

It takes into account the well-established architectural environment, but also takes advantage of the elements arising from the location, expressing the perspectives of the television and media field with its architecture and form.
